What ages of children do you accept?We accept children between the ages of 0-5 years old. Infants must be at least 3 weeks old to be enrolled at Shining Stars Learning Academy.

What is play-to-learn curriculum?Play-to-learn curriculum combines structured learning objectives with open-ended, hands-on, creative activities that encourage active engagement, problem-solving, and social interaction. We recognize that children learn best through exploration and play, and we embrace this philosophy to help them thrive.

How can I schedule a tour of your childcare facility?You can request a tour of our facility by submitting a contact form or calling our center at (956) 568-0472.

What is needed to enroll my child at Shining Stars Learning Academy?We cannot wait for your child to join the Shining Stars Learning Academy family, but first, you will need the following in order to enroll your little star: Parents will meet with the Director to discuss operational policies, our play-to-learn approach and to tour the premises. An up-to-date vaccine record and a letter from a health professional indicating the child can participate in a childcare setting program are required. Automatic payment will need to be set up via the Playground app. All enrollment documents will need to be filled out via the Playground App.
